Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue An. Ellis Taylor, American actor and producer. She graduated with a BA in Brown University in African-American Studies. In the Tisch School of the Arts, New York University she earned an MFA. Aunjanue Lisa Ellis is an actor, producer and American actress active in theatre as well as television and film. Her stage debut was in the year 2000 and went onto appear in mainstream, independent, and TV series. She gained fame for playing Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico. In the following year, she made an appearance on BET's epic television series The Book of Negroes. She made her professional acting debut with the character Ariel in The Tempest in 1995. Her stage credits include the Broadway production of Joe Turner's Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis. When it comes to film, she is best known for her roles in films like Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express and The Help. Her role on television on ABC's drama series about police High Incident has earned her high praise.
